Consulting: Yoga as a profession

Panos Katsandris
Owner and Head Teacher of Evergreen Yoga Studios
Panos Katsandris has been on the path of yoga since 2010, having taught over 6,000 hours. In 2012, he founded the first Evergreen Yoga Studios location, marking the beginning of a growing community centered around yoga. Another studio is located in Athens, in Nea Ionia, with Panos serving as the head teacher and co-founder of the community.
Since 2014, Panos has been leading and guiding the 200- and 300-hour teacher training programs at EYS. His many years of experience in both practice and teaching led him to author the book "Yoga Asana – Ideas for Practice and Teaching," a valuable resource for both teachers and students.
At the same time, deeply believing in the holistic approach of yoga, he is currently training in the Gestalt psychotherapy system, aiming for a deeper understanding of human nature and the soul.
Before beginning his journey on the path of yoga, he graduated from the School of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and completed postgraduate studies in Architecture, a profession he practiced for several years.
Through the path of yoga, Panos Katsandris finds connection with the simplicity of life. Understanding the restless nature of the human mind, he sees it as his mission to change the world through yoga by sharing the distilled wisdom he has gathered throughout his journey so far. Through the tool of observation — cultivated by years of consistent practice — he has managed to integrate his experiences and is now in a position to share, guide, and support others.
Blending his extensive experience in the field of yoga — as a teacher, trainer, studio owner, author, and Gestalt therapist-in-training — with the scientific, analytical, and structured perspective of his engineering background, he offers mentorship and guidance to yoga teachers in a clear, coherent, and accessible way.
Panos’s mentoring aims not only at transformation but also at creating the conditions for optimal growth and development for each individual. Starting from where each teacher currently stands and looking toward their next step, the focus is placed on solutions rather than obstacles.
The mentorship and consulting module with Panos Katsandris is designed for yoga studio owners who are either at the early stages of developing their school, at a point where they are seeking the next evolutionary step for themselves and their community, or exploring potential paths and solutions for creating meaningful change and energetic improvement in their daily lives.
This module aims to cultivate a relationship in which, through connection and communication, the individual can come to know themselves — and be known — in relation to their unique personality and the community they wish to serve through yoga.
The process unfolds through one-on-one sessions with Panos, during which the topics of discussion are co-created and the structure is shaped collaboratively.
Within an atmosphere of trust and clarity, a safe and supportive space is formed to help the participant move forward — opening the path toward resolving challenges, embracing change, and enhancing their overall experience on both a personal and professional level.
